I had the privilege of dancing with Arte at the WCS/Hustle weekend in Ct...what a treat! This is such sad, sad news for the dance community...  ____________________

Arte was an incredible person, inspiring and generous as a friend and dancer.

Arte was a gentleman and an inspiration. I've never been much of a hustle dancer, but it didnt matter to Arte when he took me out for a spin on the dance floor. He made me feel like a superstar and somehow got me to do moves I didn't even know. And all the while, he seemed to be having the time of his life. That to me is the mark of a great dancer.
Thinking about him reminded me of how important it is to do the things that bring us joy in life.

In California the news is reaching us here. what a shock...and so so so sad.
I loved watching him and beth dance and know that he was a presence on the dance circuit
whatever happened? was he sick?

This is sad news. I danced with him once, and all I could say at the end of the dance was "WOW!".
He will be missed.

I only met him once and WOW, what a dancer!

Here's what I got so far - he was in his apartment and passed away in his sleep. ____________________ DJ Lemur! Music that swings and music that blings!

info I have is that he was a the mountainview dance this past weekend (I think that is the name), but yesterday was unfortunately found at home passed away. We will all miss him
