A number of people had voiced their intention to attend these workshops and I have still not received your money. If you are one of these people, please contact me ASAP and get your money to me. My mailing address is PO Box 2607, Kingston, NY 12402. , or you can go HERE to register online through Paypal. Also, call or e-mail me to let me know the check is on the way.

What are you committed to?

For those commitment phobics out there, now is the time to commit :) I do have some space left but from what I heard, the last Intensive was at the same numbers that I am and it filled to capacity in the last week. There are a number of people who missed that event and regretted it. Don't wait until the last minute to register...I can't promise you that we will have a place for you.

Personally, I am committed to growing and improving the dancing here in the Hudson Valley. I just returned form a fantastic weekend of dancing at Liberty Dance in NJ, and it reminded me how much *I* have to learn, as well as how far I have come.

I have overheard and had a few conversations with some dancers who wonder why they are not asked to dance more. The answer is simple. Yes, most of us will try to dance with everyone, or at least to make the effort to dance with people at all levels of dance...after all, someone did it for us at some time in the past.

If you look at your own "wish list" of favorite dancers, you will probably see that those dancers have great dance skills. These are the dancers who have taken privates and attended workshops to improve their leading or following abilities so that they are a joy to dance with. They are the ones who you come off the floor saying "THAT was an AWESOME dance!" And of course, you can't wait to dance with them again. They are the dancers who have someone asking them to dance as soon as the music starts. If you are committed to being one of THOSE dancers, then you will want to do the Intensive.

Also, if you just plain want to make your dance more effortless and fun for yourself, then get your payment in now...I promise you won't regret it :)

A note to Beginners:

If you are confident with your basics and at least some simple "Beyond the Basics" moves and want to start with a good foundation, then you will get something from this Intensive. Even if you find some of the concepts a little hard to grasp during the Intensive, you will have your note packet (included in the workshop) to refer to, and you will generally find that over the ensuing weeks and months, things will start to "click" and make sense. Call me if you want to discuss whether you are ready for the Intensive. If you want to start with a good foundation, sign up now :)

HOTEL INFO:

I understand that all the area hotels are booked full. You can try to find one by googling "Hotels, Kingston, NY" and seeing if a space has opened up somewhere. Also, I have a few people who are volunteering to put people up for the weekend. If you are needing a room, contact me. Also, if you can put someone up, please let me know.

Spots are filling at a nice rate - if you plan on coming but can't pay immediately, contact me and I will put you on the "reminder list" so that when we reach capacity for those who have told me they are coming, you won't get left out. I already have a number of people who have paid and a bunch more who have declared that they are coming, so don't wait too long or you may miss out!

I was told that there is a rumor that the date may be changed for the Intensive.....

THIS IS NOT CORRECT!!!!

The dates are correct and we are filling up the workshop at a nice pace right now. If you plan to do the Intensive, don't wait until the last minute to sign up or you may not get a place.
